Join Navy Wounded Warrior at Washington Navy Yard on Friday, November 6, 2026 at 9 a.m. for the Warrior Care Month 5K! Celebrate Warrior Care Month while showing support for our nations wounded and injured service members and their families.
This event is open to all military personnel, civilians, and contractors: wounded warriors from all branches of service in the greater D.C area and their cargivers; and Navy Gold Star families with existing base access to washington Navy Yard.
Event Details:
Date: Friday, November 6, 2026
Time: 9 a.m
Location: The starting line will be at the National Museum of the U.S Navy, Washington Navy Yard on Sicard Street and the finishing line will be at Willard Park in front of CNIC Bldg 111.
Participation Options: 5k Run or 1 Mile Walk
Rain Date: Friday, November 13, 2026
Parking: During this event, all roads west of Parsons Ave SE on the Washington Navy Yard will be closed, 830-1030. Garage 28 will be open for parking prior to closure, and open egress aftedr the closure ends. Garage 405 will have no limitations.
