Washington Navy Yard Fitness Center


Open Monday-Friday, 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.      
Eligible Patrons:  Active Duty and their Dependents, Reservists, DoD Civilians and Contractors.

A limited number of showers and lockers will be available for use in the 2nd floor locker rooms.  
Patrons must provide their own towels, maintain social distancing and wear masks when feasible and inform staff if they plan to use lockers/showers.

The goal of MWR Fitness & Sports is to motivate the entire Navy population, including active-duty service members, family members, retirees and DOD civilians, to adopt a personal plan to get fit, stay fit and set an example of physical readiness others want to follow.

Located in the Washington Navy Yard Town Center, MWR’s recently renovated Fitness Center features three floors of top of the line cardiovascular and weight equipment, two racquetball courts and group exercise classes. Male and female locker rooms are also available on the first and second levels.

Individual and group instruction is available from certified fitness professionals in cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, flexibility and nutrition.
