Tree Lighting

Kick off the holiday season with MWR on Friday, Dec. 5 from 4:30-8 p.m. at the Community Recreation Office!

This free annual event will begin with the arrival of Santa via helicopter. After we light the tree, MWR will have fun activities including skating on our ice-less rink, pictures with Santa, a gingerbread house obstacle course, face painting & balloon art, arts & crafts, a sensory-friendly calming tent and food available for purchase from base organizations including:

• VX-20 FCPOA - Hamburgers & hotdogs
• VX-23 CPOA - Pizza, baked goods (cupcakes, cookies, etc.), cold & hot beverages
• HX-21 CPOA - Sweet & spicy Italian sausage on a bun with onion & peppers
• VXS-1 CPOA - Hot dogs, beverages
• NAVAIR CPOA - Chili
• VX-20 - Hot cocoa, cider & baked goods
